NSW: Three charged over stabbing

Police have charged three men over an attack in which a Sydney man was bashed and stabbed
in the chest.

Two 20-year-old men and one 18-year-old man from Ruse turned themselves in yesterday
afternoon following the attack at Picton .. on Sydney's south-west rural fringe .. on
Thursday evening.

Police say the trio were charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm and affray.

They'll appear at Parramatta Bail Court later today.

Police say they're still seeking others connected with the attack.





The 18-year-old victim had alighted from a train at Picton about 6.30pm on Thursday
and was walking home .. when he was set upon by eight men.

He suffered serous facial injuries when he was knocked to the ground .. kicked and
punched .. and then stabbed in the chest.

The man was in Liverpool Hospital in serious but stable condition.
