Pat Benatar, the reigning queen of rock 'n roll in the '80s, has been keeping a relatively low profile this decade.

Between her 1979 recording debut and 1989, Benatar released nine albums -- six of which earned platinum status for sales of a million copies or more, while the other three were certified Gold Records for selling at least 500,000 copies. Her 1981 video for ``You Better Run'' was the second segment ever shown on the MTV channel, following the Buggles' ``Video Killed the Radio Star.''

The gritty, no-nonsense rocker has charted 19 Top 40 hits in her career, including such radio-friendly tunes as ``Hit Me with Your Best Shot,'' ``Heartbreaker,'' …
