NSW: Snow report for Friday, August 17, 2001

SYDNEY, Aug 17 AAP - The NSW snow report for Friday, August 17:

THREDBO: Fresh and wind blown snow has greatly improved conditions. All lifts are expected
to operate. Supertrail, and trails at Merritts, Lenny's Leap at Antons, Basin, and Friday
Flat are the groomed runs.

SELWYN: Falls of up to 10cm of fresh snow have created fresh snow cover across the
resort. Up to nine lifts are operating. New Chum Bowl is great for first timers, Ski School,
Township, Emu's Chase and Home Run for the intermediates, while advanced skiers and boarders
should head to Racecourse, Pig Gully and Plum Pine.

PERISHER: Ten centimetres of snow overnight has created a light, dry fresh cover. Forty-nine
lifts are expected to operate. Front Valley, Pleasant Valley, Schnaxl at Guthega, and
Leichhardt at Centre Valley are the best runs.
